About Us
413 Events is the heart and soul of Rhiannon and John Owen, a dynamic husband-and-wife team who have turned their shared passion for curating incredible moments into a thriving business. They bring a perfect blend of passion, ingenuity, and dedication to every event they plan.
Encouraged by fellow industry professionals, they founded 413 Events just before the pandemic, bringing their extensive knowledge base to couples navigating the maze of wedding planning. By the end of the 2024 season, they’ll have celebrated a milestone of working on over 1,100 weddings, delivering seamless experiences that honor each couple’s unique love story.
With over 21 years of combined experience in Seattle’s vibrant wedding industry, Rhiannon and John each bring unique skills to the table. Before launching 413 Events in early 2020, Rhiannon spent 17 years as a sound engineer and DJ, mastering the art of crafting unforgettable atmospheres. Simultaneously, she spent the last 13 years as an event coordinator and wedding planner, honing her skill sets. Meanwhile, John’s background as an 8-year Army Veteran specializing in logistics ensures every detail of your event is handled with precision and expertise. He joined the team full-time in 2023, as a coordination team member and lead.
